Okay, we managed to be a bit late again from our usual wed/thru update...but I can now give you some early info regarding next week's update: there will be an interview with PC69, a review of the up'n coming Nightwish gig in Turku possibly, reviews of albums from James Christian and Pain Of Salvation...that's all I can remember now.

As some of you may know, I've been compiling Holy Soldier data for almost a year now for a tribute site that I'm currently working on... My research is coming along great. Please, if anyone has anything they can share HS-related, particularly photos please email me. I also am interested in magazine articles, memorabilia, bootlegs etc. If you have things but are unwilling to part with them, please contact me anyway, as I would love scans or photos of them for the site, and you'll certainly get credit for it.

When the site is nearing completion, I'll be sending out a mass email to notify everyone. If you'd like me to put you on the list, please email me.

Rumors of the band reuniting are terrific news... Would be wonderful if it happens.

MITCH MALLOY (Acoustic show) + SACRED HEART (Acoustic set)

Mitch released his self titled debut album through BMG in 1992 and it featured a track co-wrote with Desmond Child. It shot him to stardom in the US and he appeared on shows such as Jay Leno, and supported artists such as Bon Jovi, Michael Bolton, and many many more. His 2nd release entitled Ceilings and Walls came out in 1994 also on the BMG label and features a duet with Paul Carrack. Also in the 90s Mitch was asked to front VAN HALEN which he did for a short time, and recorded tracks with them that never saw the light of day! Since then he has released two solo albums with European labels, and toured the UK in 2001. This is another great chance to see one of the most underrated of artists live in the UK�.if you enjoy the likes of Bon Jovi, Jeff Scott Soto, Danny Vaughn, etc you will love Micth Malloy.

Plus support from SACRED HEART who will appeal to fans of quality melodic rock a la WHITESNAKE, DEF LEPPARD et al.

Go to www.la-nites.com in order to check out unreleased material.There is a snippet of a BLUE TEARS demo.I wish GREGG FULKERSON would resurrect BLUE TEARS.He could keep his current band for those who like modern music and give us MELODIC fans a good dose of BLUE TEARS.There are so many artists doing more than one project today.This man has the TALENT to do MELODIC ROCK MUSIC if he only wanted.

THE USED are on tour now with the PROJEKT REVOLUTION TOUR with bands like Linkin Park, KORN, Snoop Dogg, and Less Than Jake. The tour will end September 5th.

Even better is that THE USED will be on they're headlining tour as of October 8th. Bands playing include Head Automica, Atreyu, The Bled, and The Bronx.

If the vocalist from TEN & DARE got together for a one off melodic rock project would you be interested?
There are Celtic vibes in TEN's SPELLBOUND cd and on one song from their latest cd RETURN TO EVERMORE.
DARE are renouned for Celtic vibes within their music.
If these two giants of rock collaborated to make a melodic rock record I think it would be a good idea.
This is not an official message from any artist but I would hope that maybe something good could come out of this.

Check out this complete song at www.wimpwire.com What a super song this is.If you like traditional DOKKEN type riffing this is a must hear.This is the second unreleased demo by this MAGNIFICENT ROCK BAND that I have heard and I wonder how many more undiscovered gems there are hidden in the coffers.
I hope XYZ do another cd. They could mix sounds from their 3 cds.A few dark songs,a large portion of feel good songs and a few ballads would give us a wide variety of sounds and tempo to make a real outstanding cd.That would make the rock public take notice.
