Subject: Creator and Founder of The Osburn Connection

I have been asked many times "how am I linked" to this Osburn Line...

I have married into the Osburn family, genealogy is one of my hobbies, so doing the family line of Osburn's became one of my goal's....I had done alot of worked on this Osburn line before I ever had the work up on the internet of which I turned to, to get a greater result for my work..I have had the Osburn Connection up online for over 3 years now..I linked it online the last part of 1996...in my search I was given the work by a (family member) work gathered on the Osburn line by Vance V. Osburn, born 18 Jan 1931..died 15 July 1995...Then the Osburn line became a mission (I had hoped to complete his work for him), as I have seen all the hard work he had put into it, alot of hand written notes, hand written letter's from across the county and many,many documents from the past that he had gathered...alot of work just sitting and not being shared with anyone...so I set out to share what I had and to hopefully be able to have people share with me in putting this large puzzle together....the (Osburn Family Tree)but little did I know at the time, just how big the puzzle was, and as we all know grows daily with time, I don't believe a familytree can be completed, but with alot of people working together and putting information together we can at least put some kind of order to where it all began or to as close to the begining as we can, and in the future give Genealogist of their time a good foundation in hopes of keeping the past clear as we can possibly make it now for the generations to come in search of our Osburn/Osborne/Osborn etc. family line... I hope that Vance Osburn would have been proud of the way his work has gone forward in his absence, from his notes he seemed never ending in his quest for family..
