Karen - Sorry I never got back to this, but my teaching takes most of my energy. It sure is interesting about all of the connections in the geneaology. I had heard of Joseph Osburn, but could not place him until reading your reply.

My cousin still lives in Fayetteville and he took myself and friends to the site of Osburn, AR, not much there but that unmarked cementary. I had a copy of An Osburn Family by B Blakey, but I have misplaced it. But that has a full geneology going back to a William Osburn circ 1700's.

I moved to Arkansas from Kansas where I grew up, and every so often I will run into an Osburn,Osborn,Osburne,Osborne, Osbourne. I figure we are all related in the same tree.
