I, also am looking for Burditt's father. Burditt seems to have come from Bullet, Co., Ky. He was on the 1830 census there. There was also a Benjamin on the same census. He seemed to be older. They were both on P. 127 of the census. In 1840 they were both in Benton Co., Mo. Benjamin on P. 46 and Burditt on P. 43. There was also a John listed with them. He also was on P. 43. In the 1850 census, Benton Co., there was Burditt and John. As there was another John on the Bullet Co. census that was older, I am wondering if the John from Benton is his son. I am thinking that Benjamin is either Burditt's Dad or an older brother. I also wonder if the older John and Benjamin might be brothers as they seemed to live close by in Ky. The children listed would seem to fit. Do yo know what happened to James, Burditt's son? He may be my missing ancestor. Do you know his other name? My Osborn's lived in Stark Twp, Hickory Co., Mo. My ancestor is Ambrose, B. 1830 in Ky. He had three boys, James Frank, Ambrose and Stephen. James Frank is my Ggrandfather. The other two never married. If you have any information, I would love to hear from you. E-mail me at SunShine_Gma@juno.com. Thanks.................Becky
