Have information on Mathew Osborn (stowaway)but the information I have does not list Silas as a son. What information do you have that they were father and son? Also most of my ancestors followed the Quaker faith and it doesn't seem right that you have soldiers in your family. Of course, I also believe, but have not been able to prove, that some of the ancestors broke away form the Quaker religion. My proof of that is that none of my family to my knowledge has followed that religion since the early 1900's.
