iwas so excited to find your page on the osburn's; my dad has been trying for many years to find out his heritage;he had been told he was part english and part indian on his father's side; he has been trying to prove or disprove this for many years not to mention that it really sparked his interest in geneology;we offered to get him a computer so he could go on a quest-but he thinks at his age ,81 ,that he'd never be able to learn it and beside he doesn't like sitting for long periods needs and wants to keep moving-when it is nice weather he rides his motorcycle and tinkers on engines and so forth; he's a regular gadabout gaddis;so anyway my point is ,is that he drives to places like the national archives,and different locations in search of info and his best friend max dunshie tries to hook up connections on line;so thank you so much for posting this osburn site-colleen osburn rowe- chesapeake virginia
