The biggest new thing for Grim and I is that we are in the process of adopting from China. We are finishing up our paperwork now.

I am thrilled for you guys, I know several people who have adopted baby girls from china and they are all extremely happy.
i'm assuming you are getting a girl too, have you decided on a name?

99% sure it will be a girl. No named carved in stone, yet. We're thinking of Kate (after Grim's mother) or Clare (after my Gran) but we're keeping it open until we see her picture and hear her Chinese name.

Congrats to all.
As for me, there's a good chance I'll be getting a promotion in the next month. And in June one of my oldest friends will fly out from back east to play bass with my band at our next show, which will be serious fun.
Plus, there was a small, thoroughly fun gathering of C&S folk in Boston recently. Remarkable how lasting the attachments formed here have been.
