It calms him, slightly, in this chilling atmosphere. Even though he was expected never to be fearful, he could not stand being alone in the dark, where the spirits played in shadows. A gentle breeze comes to him, holding a familiar warmth, reminding him of what he had no longer. Mommy.

Tears are forced to stay hidden, and the colt to stay focused. "I wish you were still alive. I can't stay here. I'm not strong like G'daddy; I don't think I can tame the Night Daemons here." Again, he wishes he did not come alone. "I won't forget you, Mommy. And no matter what Daddy does, I'll never have another mother."

He shivers. "I wish you could hold me and tell me everything is okay. I wish you could tell me that the Night Daemons are just in my mind. Those creatures that hid in shadows...I just don't like them." The graveyard is home to the Night Daemons...and soon Mommy will be among them.

(OOC: In other words, he's scared of death and the dead. It is quite ironic, considering he lives in Death Valley.)
