I used to ride horses for my grandfather but I stopped.... he abused them.......... Chase was this one horse.. my grandfather tied him to a metal post for two weeks and then he came up to it and beat it so horribly it only lived two more days. Why? Because it didn't get the right canter leads in a show. I got him arrested and from then on most of my family resented me. My parents beat me , trying to break my spirit. The only friend I had was my best friend Joey.. and then i came out here away from them all. Chase could ride like no other horse in the world, the only reason he didnt get his leads is because it was hurting him from being hit with a metal chain. He was so trustworthy my father and grandfather hurt him so horribly and he still always listened. They hated him because they couldn't break his spirit like all their other horses. They were just waiting for an excuse to kill him.. *his voice trails off*
