I am having problems with the transmission light flashing and the car not wanting to move when we approach a stop sign or have to brake. It doesn't always happen but enough to be annoying. When we turn the rodeo off then restart it starts up and runs fine until another episode. We changed out the transmission with no improvement so we are thinking that it is not the transmission itself since I have also read about others having similar problems and it is not alleviated by rebuilding the transmission. I heard to check the grounds and the altnerator, the fuel injection, and maybe even the powertrain control module. Any help anyone can give would be much appreciated. Thanks.
