ALERT do not go to the dealer, they will over charge you. if you already have the correct remote for your vehicle simply get in the car, close all doors and turn the ignition switch from OFF to ON 5 times in a row rapidly , ending in the ON position, the door locks should have switched from LOCK to UNLOCK then press a button on the remote(s) you are programming the door locks will then again switch from LOCK to UNLOCK. Then switch the ignition off the door locks will then AGAIN switch from LOCK to UNLOCK, after that, you have successfully programmed your new remote(s) without a trip to the dealer.

hope this helped, and sometimes on diffrent ford vehicles you turn the key 8 times not 5
