I have a '99 Stratus with 9,256 miles (really!). My car shifts fine for about 5 minutes, then will not upshift or downshift. I can stop, turn the car off and immediately start the car and it is fine for about 5 minutes again. At the same time this problem began, I got a "check engine" warning light on th dash.

Any ideas? The car is a '99 and out of warranty for age, but with 9,000 verfied miles, can I expect Dodge to help out?

Thank you!

Alyessa
