Subject: 1987 Olds Toronado stopped running

My kids have a really nice Olds Toronado with 94,000 miles. It has run great for the last 6 months. They drove to work Thursday, came home and parked it. Friday afternoon they tried to start the car and nothing. It spins over fine, but will not fire. Plenty of gas, battery is charged. It appears as though the previous owner replaced the coil pack and ignition module with used parts. I replaced the coil pack yesterday, no change, still won't start. You can hear the fuel pump come on when you turn the key on, and there is a smell of fuel under the hood. Any thoughts??
