Subject: Help! Belt is off on a Ford.

On Saturday Janurany 11,2003. We were driving to a pancake breakfeast and my dad started to see smoke and the battery light came on so he said let's turn around and go home. As we were turning he said no power so we sat there and waited for someone to pick us up. What else could be the promblem?
