Subject: Statis in CD player

My CD player is making static sounds when I play my CDs. I have cleaned the lens with the CD cleaners you can buy and have rubbed anti static cloths on the CDs. Is it the climate causing it? I live in Florida and it is not very cold but somewhat humid most days but dryer lately because of the cold. Should I use canned air to blow out any dust from the inside of the CD player or just wait till warmer weather? Help - I need music
