>I did the same on my Silverado, but from auto to stick. For your situation you will have to get the onboard Cpu that goes to that tranny, for it controls shift points, and shift pressure. If you buy the tranny fron a yard make sure they give you the cpu. Some places will try to charge you for it. Then you have to blank off the floorboards where the clutch pedal used to reside. It is work alwright. Clutch cylinder has to be removed, and oil lines capped off since the oil for the tranny, and clutch come from the motor oil sump. You dont want to over look this since it will fry your motor by leaking the oil out of it hehe.. Your gear ratio on the rear might need to get looked at, its simple thou. Just plug in a power programer to adjust the tranny cpu to your tires and gears on rear diff. Hope this helps. HEADS UP, ON PROGRAMING ALONE IT WILL COST YOU. Depending where you go since the car will have to be dyno to make sure the settings are correct. Good luck.
