SO. The Gift Basket people are the NICEST PEOPLE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think a big reason as to why they are, is that we're basically contacting women. like seriously. anyhow, i wrote both of these people back telling them no later than a week before the event - and i asked themf or their url since they were on like yahoo mail and stuff lol. so now we have at least six gift baskets. kick ass. and the foody one we can always break up for the band to eat or something lol. and im only up to H! woo hoo!

This is Ellen. I have just spoken to My Sister's Place in DC (where I donate money and baskets, etc) and they told me what a wonderful program you have.
I would be happy to donate a basket and would want you to have it for the Event.
Because of the heat, I would not be able to include our fine chocolates, but you will have a wonderful assortment of gourmet snacks and goodies and probably and non food keepsake item.
I will need a "street" address, as opposed to a P. O. Box in order to ship the basket to you. I would also like to know when you need the basket by.
If you have any special colors you are using on your promotional material, stationary or your permanent logos, I will try to incorporate that color design for you. Let me know.
As a former battered spouse (some 25 years ago) I very much appreciate what you are doing and wish you very much luck.
I will send you a spectacular basket, a memo with the contents of the basket, and some of our brochures. Just please send the particulars as soon as possible.
