i agree we don't need to have the "hi, my name is" part of the invitation because it is less formal, but as far as having an introduction, it might be better to include someone's name because it makes it more personal. have you noticed when credit card companies solicit, there's alway someone representing the company. like, "hi, my name is joe blow and i have a special offer for you!" but when credit card companies cancel your card and tell you you're going to be killed and arrested if you don't pay it all off right away, it's just the credit place representing the company. does that make any sense? we don't have to use dor's name if you guys dont want. it doesn't matter whose name it is, it just makes more sense to have someone to contact. just my input.
