 Dear RAINN Supporter,

Announcing the newest way to show your support for RAINN and have a great time while you’re at it. RAINN’s latest fundraising endeavor is called Happy Birthday, Tori, which includes parties going on around the country and the world to celebrate the birthday of the founder of the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network while raising much-needed funds for the hotline. RAINN hopes to raise $100,000 worldwide through this fundraiser, and we’re hoping you can help contribute to that goal.

Please join us for the SoCal Happy Birthday Tori RAINN Event, a wonderful evening being planned for RAINN supporters and Tori Amos fans throughout the Southland. The SoCal RAINN Event will feature performances by nationally-acclaimed acts: Faith and the Muse (their only 2001 U.S. tour date!), Joe 90 (as heard on tour with the Counting Crowes and on Dawson’s Creek) as well as local musicians Chris Laterzo and Hailey Kyees. You’ll also be treated to a delicious array of food donated from local restaurants and caterers. The event includes a silent auction and prize drawing featuring thousands of dollars worth of prizes, and last but not least, SkinMarket make-up artists will be onsite to provide complimentary makeovers. There are also many other fun surprises in store for our guests.

Tickets for the event are $50 per guest. You’ll find an order form enclosed with different ways you can participate in this fundraiser. This is a wonderful way to support RAINN and meet other great people in our community, so we’re hoping to see you there, but if for some reason you cannot attend we hope you’ll extend your generosity and send in a donation. With your $20 donation, you’ll receive five limited-edition, enlarged photos of Tori Amos. A $38.00 donation adds your name to the birthday card we’re sending her after the event.
