I'm from IL and a senior at Joliet Catholic[the school with the awesome football team]. In Illinois we call it Scholastic Bowl, not scholars. We are 7-5 right now, but have played some great competition, including 2 narrow losses to New Trier and 1 blowout to Bradley-Bourbonnais[both state powers]. Plus, we were 8-25 last year so we'll take it. We even beat our archrival, the Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan for the first time in like 10 years this year. We really are looking up this year. We are back and think we have a shot at a state title. Just wanted to know how VT Scho-Bowl was. We have the 20 [30 in the IHSA state series]toss-up format with corresponding bonuses.
