Subject: preachers that only want certain people in his church

What is the problem with a preacher that only want people of a certain class to come to his church? My husband and I were going there, also other familt members. When we quit going, that same month, there was 3 families that quit. I set and watched people that were not wealthy and could not afford to go out and buy new suits and dresses, the preacher stood right there and preached how you should dress at church. Needless to say, they never came back. That happened more than once. My husband was brought up as a Catholic and had not been to church in 25 yrs before I talked him into going to a Apostolic church, which I was brought up in. I had not been in years either. I found what I had been missing and my husband loves it. After 2 years in this church, we had to leave it. We got sick of new people coming in and the preacher running them off. The church has only around 30-40 people. My daddy got the Holy Ghost about 1 1/2 yr ago. My husband told me, if thats what it does to you, I don't want it. My Dad has totally changed and I don't mean the way he should have. His health has gone down like you would not beleive and he is like mad at the world. Any way we started the church I was brought up in and my husband was Baptized in Jesus name July 31st 2005, I was in April. He recieved the Holy Ghost about 2 months ago. We are happier than we have ever been. Although the devil has tried his best at what he does best, but we refuse to let him have his way. Back to the preacher, while we were there, we watched him run off 15 people that I remember and I do not how many since. My mother does not like going there but she does for my dad. This preacher is supposed to be high up in this district but I can not understand that either. But my dad and all the men there were told (when we were still there) they had to wear suits only with ties. I was taught, you went to church in your best, which some people do not have $300.00 suits.
