Subject: Quiz Information for Hodges' Monday class

Here are suggestions in preparing for the first quiz over over Brigham Chapters 1 and 2.

1. Go to the MYWEBCT and login. The URL is http://webct.gsu.edu/webct/public/home.pl
If you are registerred for my class, the link to my 8622 webct page should be visible. If the link is not visible, either because your registerred in later registration or you are not in my class, email me at chodges@gsu.edu. You message should list your your first and last name and your student number as they would appear on a class roll. I will add you to the course within 24 hours of getting your email. At the 8622 WEBCT site, click on the quizzes link and try the Sample Quiz over Chapters 1 and 2. Note, there will be a delay between you taking the quiz and the release of the answers of the quiz.

2. Try the sample .pdf question located at http://www-cba.gsu.edu/wwwfin/public_html/finmgt_pdf/8622q1f99.PDF. This type of question will be about 60% of the September 11 quiz.

3. Try the textbook websites sample questions, the URL is http://www.harcourtcollege.com/finance/theory/quiz.html

4. Here are some suggested question and problems.
From chapter 1, answer Minicase Parts, A, D(1 and 2),F,G,I(1,2,and 3), and answer Questions 1-9, 12.
From chapter 2, review Self-test 1, solve problems: 2-1. 2-2, 2-5, 2-8, 2-11, 2-13 and answer questions; 2-2, 2-4, 2-5, 2-8, 2-9, 2-10, 2-11 2-13, 2-14, 2-15.
