Ohio...(AP) Today Mrs. Lauda Belch , tried a new technique for cleaning her mini-blinds,
using a most unlikely cleaning product....baby wipes. So great were the results, that word
spread throughout the neighborhood, the town, the state, the nation, around the world,
and throughout the galaxy.
Mrs. Belch is a quiet mother of two (Conduit and Magpie), wife of noted prize winning
salesman (Nodle Belch), and owner of two clueless dogs and one classy kitty. She also has
a thriving day care center in her home. Yesterday while she had a rare moment to herself ,
she decided to test an idea that she and a friend had been tossing around for a few days. She used some baby wipes to clean the mini-blinds. The success of this
creative idea even surprised her.
When reporters clamored at her door asking for more details of her new cleaning process,
she demonstrated the technique for them, as she served some tea obtained from Edie’s Tea
Room. She confided that she had collaborated with her friend of a few years, Mrs.
PixiePoo Wingding, in developing this unique process of cleaning. Mrs. Wingding is the
wife of biblical scholar, Armageddon Wingding, and is an artist and writer in her own right.
"I always have baby wipes available for all the poopies that happen during the day around
here,” stated Mrs. Belch, as she cleaned up some of the stray Cheerios the children had
dropped earlier. Mrs. Belch added, “These kids keep me hopping. I know I’ll be buying
even more baby wipes soon because I’ll be caring for a 7-week old baby boy in a couple
weeks. The wipes are very easy to use, there's no messy dripping, and it does a miraculous cleaning job on the blinds. While the baby and other
kiddos nap, I will flit through my large home like a fairy, cleaning all the blinds in record time. This will give me extra time to plan playtime for the kids.”
This morning Mrs. Belch notified the media that Monday will be a big day for her. It
seems that Martha Stewart and Fly Lady of TV and internet fame, will be hosting a
gigantic celebration of Mrs. Belch’s discovery of her new cleaning technique. During part
of the celebration, she will receive a special award, and everyone there will share their
cleaning secrets. MS Living magazine will also print an extensive article in the August issue outlining the entire story of this wonderful household breakthrough...how the two ladies put their creative heads together to come up with what can only be termed as "OUTSTANDING".
Mrs. Belch’s friend, Mrs. Wingding, will also be in attendance and will fly around the
room sprinkling **pixie dust** among the guests. Since it has been known to have
creative qualities, we have great expectations that many other new and improved cleaning
techniques will be discovered shortly thereafter.
Mrs. Belch and Mrs. Wingding are enjoying their notariety, but it has been exhausting.
They are being invited to lecture at Universities, and will be appearing on many talk
shows, including Jay Leno and David Letterman. TV shows like Inside Edition and Jerry
Springer have bids in for their appearances as well.
Everyone is wondering what other unique and innovative cleaning ideas these two homemakers can come up with...maybe using other common household items, like duct tape, for example.
Dan Rather of CBS News once again interruped Y&R with the breaking news of Mrs. Belch's new cleaning method. He also reported that SWIFFER was considering buying the rights to it so that they can produce a similar product. Reports also say that Mrs. Belch and Mrs. Wingding are mulling over this idea in anticipation of a lucrative offer.
In a joint statement issued this morning, Mrs. Belch and Mrs. Wingding stated, “It’s all very wonderful, but very exhausting. People want us to write a book now. Life will never be the same again.”
