Subject: So it took us 5 years...

But the wedding ceremony went very well after all our planning and our 100 guests (up from the original 8 we'd planned) had a marvelous time dancing at the reception. At least that's what they say; it was all a bit of a blur.

Our secret weapon, the chocolate fountain, was a major success and we had enough flowers left over from decorating that the baker was able to go all out decorating the cake top. Against it all, a Big Band era band played "Dream a Little Dream" and all our other favorites (all our dance classes really paid off) and my gal looked radiant in her gown.

The honeymoon was a nice respite of calm; a leisurely stroll through Chicago for shopping, blues, sight seeing and a chance to see Wicked (a truly delightful musical). Honeymooning in Chicago in November... he he... (I think we're safe hiding here, nobody will ever look for us here).

All in all, moments to cherish for a lifetime.

Congratulations, you two lovebirds. May this be the beginning of a rich life together. Chicago seems like a good choice, all the better to snuggle up against the chill of November winds. Mazel Tov!
