I have no acro...

We've been doing well, coming up on our first wedding anniversay! Sheeesh, I'm an old married lady now! No longer a newlywed.

Bill has been busy studying for the second part of his boards for Landscape Architecture. I've been struggling with my job here and thinking of changing directions. We're both having difficulty being Yankees living in the south. But it's really all good!

We've joined a local dance group and Bill has become quite an excellent lead. We've made tons of friends and we're always finding something to do our some new place to dance. In fact, Bill just finished up a very successful fund raising dance and was able to raise $4000 to cover the cost of a new playground for our synagogue. That was an enormous amount of work and I'm very proud of him :)

I started playing acro again before it shut down it's door. Met some nice new folks and played once with Polly Ell from the old L&L days and had a wonderful conversation with her.

What's new with you? Still hanging around Acroland or has that place closed too?

Patty! Great to hear from you and congratulations to you and Bill on your first anniversary. That Bill must be some hoofer to raise $4000!!! ;-)
I've been very busy with dance as well, taking over as General Manager here and launching our season along with a major fundraising campaign, while writing grant applications and trying to hire a new employee. I did take time off to party like a rock star last weekend at the Western Canadian Music Awards, though.
I was also an occasional Acro player before they shut it down. It had become only a shadow of its former self player-wise, but there were still some fun people to play with. Every once in a while I would see one of the old players from way back when.
Acroland is not really in use any more, just as most of these forums have become unused. I guess there just isn't any connection since none of us are in conversation regularly. C'est la vie.
It's nice to hear that you and Bill are doing well. How are your dogs?
