Subject: went to a colonial house site this weekend.......

The site was in Winnsboro. We found an old roadbed and about 30 yards from it in a cow pasture was a clump of trees, with rocks all around them...field stones or chimney stones? Only one way to find out...We started swingin dem coils around and started findin a few rose nails..then a couple of flat buttons..found alot of"i dunno's" but i do believe it was a late 18th or early 19th century house due to fact of finding the rose nails and the type of flat buttons..(according to my huntin buddy that is)..gonna go back soon and hopefully find some goodies....happy huntin and ya'll find somethin good out there
