Thanks Wheat, It's a Sony Mavica MVC-75.. It taks really good close ups but not as good as my Kodak 215 outside for distant pics. The closest you can get with the Kodak is 8".
With the Sony you can touch the subject with the lens and still have a good pic. They are on sale at Office Max now for $350. It uses reg. floppy disks instead of a flash card or other memory cards. You can take a pic., take the floppy out of the camera, put it in the computer, send it to your online storage site(without changing anything. It records in jpeg)and share the pic with all of us on the forums..Easiest one I have used yet!
Talking about slow computers, mine is a 400 Mh processor,8 Gb hard drive, that I changed this weekend to a 40 Gb hard drive. I need the space more right now than the speed. My daughter wants me to burn her some music CD's and it takes a lot of space to make one CD. You know, you can add USB ports to your puter..Check at office max on adding them. I think I'm right on that..
Good luck talking the wife into a new camera as well as a new puter......................HH'ing...........Glenn......
