Thanks James,Yes I find a good many rings now and then especially at the beach. I recently found two silver rings at Folly Beach, SC and three cheap rings, a silver high school ring, and a gold shriner's ring at a church near me and a gold initial ring, and a silver cub scout ring at a school in Orangeburg,SC. Metal detecting is a lot of fun.You never know what you are going to dig up..Today I was detecting a park that I have found some old coins and some pistol balls. Well I found five more pistol balls and a confederate mini ball(two rings) that had been fired. It is my only confederate mini ball. I found a union mini ball(three rings) a couple months ago and a William's cleaner bullet that the Confederates used but I think mine was earlier than the civil war. I use a Bandido II Umax made be Tesoro. It was only $375 at Al's discount detectors. It is a very good detector. You should try detecting, you would more than likely love it. I know I do !!!!......................Glenn......................
