I agree.. Seems the writers are only able to keep us watching from what past writers has done, and that was to make the characters interesting. I had long ago become so frantic at Marlena since her eye contact demon days, she's everyones "pshy", but can't see her own life as being so disfunctional, and her of all people never wants to be around her own children until a conflict, otherwise they are sent off until grown enough to take care of themselves.
I would like to see Nicole and Kate become great friends and take on the work industry as dynamite females in great positions, Also, Lexie to regain her great position with the hospital and Abe's wife and dyno Mother, Hope to be a leader among the family like Alice was, and the kids/youth to do all the childish things like the adults are doing, at least we can understand young people messing up. I like Kate with Roman, seems this would put one of the hunks that cherrished Marlena in check, this could play interesting in Marlena not accepting and loosing John to go to Tony and for once Marlena being with Tony and seeing younger more exciting females Tony would have around, being treated better than her, for once. Then she would know what the others are going through, and face hurt feelings of how she once had it all, and thought so little of making it work better.
Just my thoughts!!!!!
