There has been a lot of talk over the net these past few weeks about Deanna Wright (Kay) and whether or not she would re-sign with the show. It has recently been confirmed that she is NOT going to re-sign her contract when it expires in August. In SOD she states that her character is at odds with her Christian convictions, and it has been placed on her heart that it's time to move on. Her last day of taping will be August 29th, so her last air date will be some time in September. I wish her all the best. :-)

I suppose we'll have to get used to Kay #4 now. ;-)

I wish it wasn't true. :( Deanna was a such great actress and I really enjoyed her protrayal of Kay Bennet. I haven't been watching Passions long enough to have seen any other Kay, so for me it's like losing Galen Gering, Mackenzie Westmore, or Ben Masters. I hope they take the extra step to find an appropriate replacement because it won't be an easy transition.
