I understand why someone would feel Theresa needs to go on with her life, without Ethan. But, Gwen is the first and foremost "B" in this whole story line. Gwen, was the reason the tabloids knew about Ethan's biological facts, and ruined Ethan's relationship with the Cranes, made Ethan feel it was all Theresa's fault(which stopped his original marriage to her), messed up Sam and Grace's marriage, ended Ivy and Julian's living situation so Becky could move into the mansion, then when Theresa lived there so did Gwen.
So, Gwen is a very manipulating, untrustworthy person who started it all, otherwise Theresa and Ethan would have long been together. Look how many was hurt by Gwen's actions.

yeah- I've been waiting for that story line for years!!! One day that beotch will get whats comming to her! Its her fault she lost the baby- not theresa's- and Ethan & theresa would have been happily married a long ass time ago had gwen not blown up the story about ethans paternity and leaked it to the press- she ruined his life- then lied about it- then got pregnant and ruined his chances of being happy with theresa- only tragedy follows gwen. Granted theresa has brought on her own pain many times; but gwen has never got whats comming to her- theresa has learned (supposedly- although I do think her baby is ethans and she knows it and when he finds out thats when he won't ever trust her for doing what his mother did to him) However, I've heard gwens baby will actually turn out to be alive so it looks for now like she has her hooks into him deep- until he finds out about his other baby-

Theresa is the most manipulative crybaby on this show. First of all, Gwen never would have known about Ethan's paternity if Theresa hadn't snooped around and found the letter from Ivy to Sam - then she downloaded it onto her computer and left it for anyone to read, which just happened to be Rebecca and Gwen. Theresa cannot accept the fact that she is her own worst enemy and causes her own problems - then cries "poor pitiful me". Whitney should get herself a new best friend - one with a little more maturity and self respect, and some morals. I wouldn't be surprised if Theresa tried to commit suicide to get Ethan back and blame Gwen for that. I can't wait for Beth to be caught and sent to the psychiatric ward. Of course, she will probably escape and then a whole new story line will evolve for Sheridan and Luis to be on the lookout for a lunatic with plans to kill them.
