I do feel for those who have been mistreated as a child, however, I know it is not good for them to be continually mistreated for the rest of their lives. So, Beth marrying Luis would be mental cruelty, when he does have this passion and great love for Sheridan. Wouldn't this make her more disappointed and more mentally unstable?
Luis, has used Beth for companionship since Sheridan mishaps began, and evidently when Beth and Luis shared their bed, he was not satisfyed, so why prolong the fact of Beth not being who Luis wants. Beth needs someone that totally loves her, and for who she is, not someone that chose her for a fill in. As for all we know, these past childhood problems Beth is often dreaming of, aren't false, and she has been a problem child from the start, so if it weren't for her Mother all along Beth would have been locked up?????? (Just judging by the way Mrs. Wallace is always praying and asking God for help, and that none of the Elite seem to ever say that Mrs. Wallace was a tramp in the past, it's all came from Beth's thoughts.
With Sheridan/Luis, for what I have seen they have not forced each other or tried to use things to keep each other away from people, they just have others that try to interfere with them.
