Subject: Stupid Passions Women

Is it just me or are the women of Passions totally boneheaded and about as smart as a brick when it comes to men? I really don't understand why these women...Kay, Theresa, Ivy, Simone, Beth, Liz...want to be with men who have made a choice not to be with them or do not fully encourage their attentions.

Personally, it seems that TPTB have made the women on this soap nothing more crybabies who have no self-worth unless they can snag a man who does not want them. What does that show Amercian women? It is really beginning to make me sick. As a mother of a teenage daughter we have long conversations about relationships and choices. I have always told her that she doesn't have to have a boyfriend to have self worth. We also talk about wanting someone who doesn't want you...I would rather stand behind a mule than subject myself to that kind of grief.

Sorry for the rant...it is just....AGH!!

Rose

I could not agree more, Rose! The women of Passions just make me sick, and I HATE how JER portrays them. I honestly cannot believe Passions has been picked up for another year with the way it's going. I used to love this show, but lately it's just been getting on my nerves. Don't be sorry for ranting. We all need to rant every now and then, lol.

Thanks for posting!

Yeah Passions has hit yet another rut JER can't seem to get out of, but spoilers for the next two weeks actually sound pretty interestly namely Kay tells her parents about Ivy and David and Grace starts believing Kay, Kay accuses Tabby of being a witch, Ivy gets her way with Sam, and Julian and Rebecca are caught making love on top of $1 million by Ethan, Gwen, Theresa and Fox.

From a very reliable source... sides that could mean almost anything.

Yes, it's very nerve recking when my favorites on Passions act like they will die if they don't get the man they want. I truly believe that JER has issues with women. It's like he was burned when he was younger, and vowed to one day create a soap that totally disses women.
