In my opinion, Victor raped Nicole. She did not want to have sex with him (and who would blame her), but he forced her to because she is now his "serf." Blech! Victor was downright evil, not to mention scary on Friday's show. I have never seen him like that before, especially when he kind of threw Nicole onto the bed. It's sickening. Nicole has never been one of my favorite characters, but nobody deserves what Victor did to her. I know they're married and everything, but that doesn't change my mind at all. I remember when he promised to protect her. He knew the kind of life she'd led thanks to her father, and Victor wanted to protect her. He's doing a great job, don't ya think? I never saw Victor as that bad of a guy before, but now I hate him. Just divorce her and get it over with.

I have mixed feelings on this issue. I would say it was rape, but the fact is that Nicole could get away from Victor; she's chosen not to because of what he's blackmailing her with. I don't think if she'd told him to go to h*ll, she was leaving him, that he would have forced himself on her. At the same time, I DETEST this storyline, for the same reason that I hated the Colin & Jennifer thing. Storylines where women use their bodies against their will instead of their minds is gross and disturbing to me.

The problem is that the writers are trying to see me on Nicole as a poor victim and I ain't buyin'. She knew EXACTLY what Victor was about, what he did to people who cross him and chose that. She saw what happened to Kate as she was living at the mansion. She saw him torment Sami & Kate and loved every minute of it. Not to mention what she did to Eric & Lucas. They can't make Nicole sympathetic to me.

I agree with you all the way ali, it is sick to see them make the storylines where it basically tells women its ok to let men just use their body like that. I mean I know this has been a little while back but like you was saying the whole Jennifer and Colin thing, I mean I just thought it was horrible watching her lay there and cry. I know it happens in everyday life, but they could make the women more smart and strong. They are just pushing all of that way too far, they make too many of the women on the show be sexually violated these days, I mean Kate being a prostitute, Nicole being pimped out by her dad, then her dad raping Jan, Colin raping Jen, now this with Nicole and Victor, I know theres even more storylines in the past that I'm missing plus I even read in the rumors that Tony was going to rape Marlena. I hope they strengthen up the women on the show and have them fight back, and bring down the men that do that to them.

I would love to see a strong woman on Days who fights back. Hopefully the writers will wise up soon and give us what we want, lol. Victor still freaks me out though, hehe.

I still don't hvae sympathy for her because I know she can be downright cruel and evil (and she's just a character) but if it were real life, I'd have a different view on this. Definitely rape.
