Achem. Anyway, the first thing I need to do is apologize to Tara. m(__)m I'm very sorry, Tara; I had no idea that deleting your posts would cause any sort of panic or strife. I'm afraid that I didn't consider that, and I'll remember this incident for next time. My only defense is that I'm not accustomed to people saying "goodbye." Where I come from, people just leave or stop checking the boards and forget they exist. ^_^;;; If someone leaves in the middle of a plot, he or she writes out her characters and then we never hear from him or her again.

As for your "friendly advertisement," well, all text is bitchy by default (so I was told once, and so I believe), so what may have seemed like a "friendly advertisement" to you was borderline "spamming" to me. Of course you can do some "friendly advertising," but since the NB is just now getting on its feet, it might not look so good if one of the first three posts is an advertisement. ^^ So you might want to do that here. If you like, we'll even link you, though I'm not sure how much traffic that would bring you (as you can probably tell, this place lacks membership).

There is one point I'm going to address from one of your previous posts, and that was your complaint about the rules. Now, maybe you're fortunate enough to run an RPG where you can get by with relatively few rules, but that is not the case here. Actually, this place used to have even more stringent rules, including a three-strikes rule, but I got rid of that because I felt that it made this place too dictatorial (uh, it is gone, right?). An influx of newbies once nearly caused the ruin of this place, and I'm trying to avoid that happening again. If some people feel the rules are too strict, well, I'm sorry, but in order to learn there have to be some guidelines, and I stress learning above all in this place.

And I don't think Gen was overstepping her bounds at all, though she might have been a little caustic. But that's who she is and that's her right, so I'm not going to chew her out because she didn't actually say anything derogatory.

Now, Tara, if you want to leave because you don't like watching "drunken antics," then that's your perogative and I'm certainly not going to stop you. But I think you'll be missing out on a lot; I mean, this is now a board purely for character development, which I think is interesting in itself (Gen seems to agree, so maybe I'm not alone in this). I'm personally looking forward to developing some of my characters who're gathering dust for lack of activity.

But my intention isn't to lecture or anything. So if you're really leaving, Tara, then farewell, goodbye, auf weidersehn, goodnight! Okay, I'll stop with the bad Sound of Music jokes now. Seriously now, farewell and you're welcome back anytime.
