Hang in there on the job search WW. With all my stress and lack of funds since the new year, I have fallen off the weekend. My new place to live has a massive workout facility, and I'm going to get back on track once I've moved. Except for the financial stress, my life will be much more in order over the next week or so.

I could not afford the Cobra plan, so I worked for the last 2 years with no benefits or vacations until I just got this job. I came off a great paying job and settled for $11 an hour to start. I worked hard and became a team leader, so they gave me a 70% pay increase and allowed me to work as much overtime as I wanted. Well, until this new year. That's what gave me the impetus to seek a new position. So, I guess losing overtime pay ended out being a good thing.

I am not certain if I am still going to be doing Avon or not. Since I now work in civil service, selling it at work is pretty much out of the question. There is already an Avon lady in my new apartment complex. And, the surrounding neighborhood in Ybor City would not exactly provide a comfort zone for home delivery. I am considering getting a table at the Saturday Fresh Market held at the park a block from my apartment each week. I just have to check it out to see if it will be worth the monetary investment and my time. But, when you are able, and I hope it is soon (!) that you and Mr. Logan are back on your feet professionally, just order as normal for now. If my account is closed (permanently or temporarily), they'll let you know. Or just email me when you're ready. I will still have my Avon hotmail addy.

FYI, the reason I started selling is because I needed the extra money while I was a contractor, and I loved the reduced pricing for purchasing what I needed. So, consider that possibility of doing something you enjoy on the side if you can not find a full time job that means all of your needs. Good luck!
