Subject: =Welcome Home=, Son_of_Phil!

This warm =poetic= welcome is extremely special and touching. I am truly honored to welcome our beloved phil's son, Samuel, to our family. Per his request, I am going to share his request to become a =poet= and the reason he chose the =team= name he has.

Hello =Poets In Motion=,

I recently visited you team website while remembering my father, Phil, and the things he loved during his life. Acrophobia is one of the things that came to my mind. I began playing Acro in 1997 on my father's computer during
Christmas break from college. The next time I came home, I discovered that my father had become an acro addict and he continued to be up to the time of his passing away. I didn't play the game that often until December of 2001. I found myself fighting for acro time with my dad. When he would let me have time to play, I proudly bragged to him every time I won a face off. I played as DrakePike and SonofPhil during those times.

I just found the acro challenge game and I am very pleased that an environment for playing acro has appeared. I remember how distraught my curmudgeonly father was when Acrophobia began to change hands. He loved the game and I do too. I would like to have the opportunity to carry on my
father's legacy as a member of your team. It would be a great honor to me and my father to become a =poet=.

I would also like to thank you for the kind words written about my father in the Dead Poets Society. They are greatly touching and appreciated. Thank you.

I thought about what you said on how to pick my =poet= name. You said "Pick your favorite poet." We talked about =coleridge_jr= and =coleridge_II=. These seemed very appropriate to me to carry on my dad's legacy. Then, the
perfect name came to me clear as day. My favorite poet is =dad=.

My father was like a poet to me. He had a line for everything. Sometimes, at family gatherings, he would be in the next room while others were having a conversation and chime in with an occasional line such as, "Rhythmic movement
is a sign of retardation." He said the answer to every question beginning with "Why..." is "Why not?". My favorite of them all is his answer to the question, "Is it good?". His reply every time was, "It's good if you like it."

That was my dad. He was a poet in his own way. So, I choose my team name to be =dad=, my favorite poet.

I'm looking forward to joining the =PIM= team in it's acroing adventures. I'm sure dad is smiling down proudly right now.

Sincerely,

Sam
Son_of_Phil
=dad=

I can't really add anything to his own words.
Please give a warm =poetic= welcome to =dad=.
