Subject: Canadian Hockey Gold

If you aren't already aware of it... The man in charge of the Olympic ice for the hockey games was Canadian. When he started to flood the ice, there was no mark for centre ice for the ref to drop the puck. When he asked what was used to mark centre, he was told "something about the size of a Loonie" (our $1 coin) so, he put a Canadian $1 coin under the ice to mark centre. The orgainizing committee complained but it was too late so he covered it with a blotch of paint but it stayed there while we won both gold medals. They dug the coin out of the ice after all was said and done and today it was placed in The Canadian Hockey Hall of Fame.

We must take menny to see it next time! LOL
