To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven.

If the bombing of Pearl Harbor was "The Day That Will Live in Infamy", today is "The Day Which Infamy Itself Cannot Shelter". There is not an historic precedent for such a horrific affront to our people. The United States lost approximately 52,000 people in all of WWII. This includes Pearl Harbor, Normandy, all of the battles in Northern Africa, France, Italy, Germany. It includes the bloody battles in the Pacific including the loss of ships to bonzai pilots and the invasion of Okinawa.

50,000 people work(ed) in the WTC twin towers. 150,000 people visited the twin towers daily. The human toll from this attack could well rival the entire amount of American lives lost in WWII. Make no mistake, we are at war and nothing will ever be the same again.

I personally am a US Army reservist and I will gladly give up the comforts of home to go serve my country when I am called. I have been hearing a lot on TV about the need to have blood donated. At first they were asking for blood in the NYC and Wash DC areas but lately they have been asking for blood donations from anywhere. I believe this blood will be needed for the military and I personally will be donating blood tomorrow and I encourage everyone else to do the same as soon as possible.
