Subject: The Middle East

Now, first let me say this: I saw it all as it happened, much like Oklahoma, the last terrorist act, this one was shocking.

It's very surreal and that is a direct effect of TV and movies and so much make believe being thrown at us from the airwaves.

Moving on from there, I have no personal tragedy to measure this against, there was no direct effect on me and so, I am strangely indifferent, but not unmoved.

I apologize for not being more sensitive to this affront to humanity, but things afar from me don't have as great an impact on my emotions.

That being said, I am of the firm belief that a response must be made and that response must change the face of the world as much as this attack has changed the New York city skyline.

Conflict in the Middle East, war in the Middle East, terrorism in the Middle East, aggression in the Middle East, bombings in the Middle East.

As long as I can remember there has been at least one news story a week that had a headline like that.

The world would be a better place without the Middle East and that leads me to my next suggestion.

Slag it all and let their personal Gods sort them out.

Let the source of strife in the world reap what it has sown.

Dunes of glass as far as the eye can see. The world can only be a better place without the twisted of mind such as they are.

It would not phase me to hear the next generation of youth saying "Afghaniwhere ?"
