据香港星岛日报6日报道，热地昨日在拉萨接见香港记者访问团，在答覆本报记者提问如何处理达赖去世后转世灵童的挑选问题时，热地表示，达赖的年纪不小了，末日快要来临了。达赖去世后，将按照历史定制与藏传佛教的传统来挑选其转世灵童。如果灵童的人选超过一个，便由金瓶抽签的方式，挑选出一位真正的转世灵童，最后经由中央政府批准。 (chinesenewsnet.com)
据介绍，西藏活佛转世轮回制度出现于十三世纪，后来达赖五世到北京朝觐，获清世祖册封，并赐金印，由此形成历任达赖必须得到中央政府册封的传统。 (chinesenewsnet.com)
热地指责达赖完全跟随西方的魔笛跳舞，尽管近年达赖声称不再寻求独立，但他所谓的「大藏区自治」，是想将有藏人居住的西藏、青海、四川、甘肃整合在一起，是变相独立。热地说，达赖流亡四十多年间，仍千方百计干扰西藏的经济与社会发展，其目的是妄图恢复农奴制度。 (chinesenewsnet.com)
