Subject: 从“杀绝”到“赶尽”
在中国，先知先觉的思想者，对统治集团说三道四的言论者，向来是不受欢迎的。岂止是不受欢迎，而且不会有什么好下场。
远古的不说，就说当代吧。张志新，遇罗克，王申酉……这样的亡灵，还少吗？
高高在上的统治者，之所以对思想者和言论者，如此毫不客气地杀，杀，杀，一是出于惩罚，二是为了警示。从此以后，谁还敢胡思乱想，谁还敢胡说八道，嘿嘿！
到了“改革开放”的时代，开明的统治者，对于思想者与言论者，杀，是不再杀了，随之而改成了——赶。把你赶出国门，别在我的地盘上折腾，去你妈的“西方世界”吧。
杀头或枪毙，固然是处罚和警示，留你一条性命，已是宽大为怀，让你一走了之，更是党恩荡大了。
对待思想者和言论者，从以往的“杀绝”，到眼下的“赶尽”，这的确是中国的一个进步，但也仍然是中国的一大悲哀。
