I have ancestors with the last name Densmore. My father Thomas Densmore was born in EAst Liverpool Ohio in 1929. His father, Aloysius ARnold Densmore was born in East Liverpool, Ohio in 1899. Arnold's father's name was Nicholas and his father's name was Reuben, and his father's name was also Reuben. I am not sure when they were born or where. I have been attempting to trace our family history and have wondered if family came into the United States via Canada. We are told that the family came from Northern Ireland and we know they did not enter the United States through Ellis Island. They came to this country before that time.
