Subject: MICHAEL BAKER OF CALHOUN, IL

HELP: I CAN'T FIND ANY INFORMATION ON OUR GREAT GRANDFATHER, Michael Baker from Batchtown, Calhoun Co., IL.
He was married to Margaret Dritch. She had been married previously and had a child when they were married. He was a stow-a-way on a ship to come to America from Germany. He doesn't seem to be in the census I have read. I want to know when he came to America, from where in Germany, and who his parents were. Also Margaret's maiden name and where they were married and are burried.
