Subject: KONSTANZ or CONSTANZ

I am looking for information on my Grandmother and my Great Grandfather's lineage. They emmigrated to the United States, via Halifax, Nova Scotia in November 1907.

My Grandmother was Mary Margaret Marie Magdelene Konstanz, born November 20, 1902 in Shongoi(sp??), Russia.

My Great Grandfather was Jacob Konstanz, born June 26, 1878 in Warenburg, Northern Russia. My Great Grandmother was Margaret Konstanz, believed to have died in Shongoi(sp??), Russia in 1903.

I believe these towns were both in East Prussia, not Russia but I'm not sure.

My Grandmother insisted that Konstanz was spelled Constanz when she was born.

Any information that someone can provide about my family or the towns they were born in will be greatly appreciated.
