Ich mache Forschung auf meiner Scharrer-Ahnenreihe. Mein gro�er Gro�vater war Johann (John) Wilford Scharrer, B,: 21. April 1860, in Hamburg, Deutschland. Er starb 22. Jan. 1937 in Mt.. Angenehm, Michigan. Gro�e Gro�mutter war Catherine Bradt von London, Ontario, B: 1863, D,: 19. Juni 1936, im Err�ten, Michigan. Es ist gesagt worden, da� Johann in um 1861 zum Alter von einem nach Amerika kam, und lie� in Ontario nieder, wo er Catherine traf, bis sie nach Michigan f�r die Ruhe ihres Lebens zogen. Aber ich habe keinen Schiffen Aufzeichnungen gefunden, die diese Aussage verifizieren. Johanns Vater Name ist vielleicht Georg Scharrer gewesen, und der Name seiner Mutter ist vielleicht Barbara Swartzkots, oder Swartzkats oder Swartzkatz oder Swartzkopf, gewesen. Ich habe hier Toten-beendet. Jede Hilfe wird gesch�tzt werden.

Hello,

I am doing research on my Scharrer ancestry. My great grandfather was Johann (John) Wilford Scharrer, B: 21 April 1860, in Hamburg, Germany. He died 22 Jan. 1937 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Great grandmother was Catherine Bradt from London, Ontario, B: 1863, D: 19 June 1936, in Flushing, Michigan. It has been said that Johann came to America in around 1861 at the age of one and settled in Ontario, where he met Catherine until they moved to Michigan for the rest of their lives. However I haven't located any ships records that verify this statement. Johann's father's name may have been Georg Scharrer, and his mother's name may have been Barbara Swartzkots (or Swartzkats, or Swartzkatz, or Swartzkopf). I have dead-ended here. Any help will be appreciated.
