I am also looking for information on a Cadwallader Owens from Wales. My father says that his Cadwalladar married Margaret Evans abt 1792 and they had 2 sons - Cadwallader and William.
William married Elinore Jones in 1923- Wales. They had 11 children and were Calvinists. They were converted tot he Morman Faith and left Wales to join the saints for the trip from Iowa to Utah.
The boat was named "St. Croix", entered via the Gulf of Mexico, and traveled up the Mississippi to Winter Quarters.
Elinore died on board on the the 9th of May one day after losing daughter Jane. Moments after daughter Alice, and son william died. These four were buried across form Brandywine Point in Tennessee. Cadwallader (Father) died 12 May 1849 then Catherine on 15th of May followed by James and William. These three were buried 4 miles below present limits of St. Loius, Illinois.
Magdalena died in December of 1849 of the same cholera that took almost all of her family.
Only Owen (1st born), Cadwallader Jr(2nd), and Margaret (5th) were left. These three made it with the pioneers. Owne was our ancester and settled in Willard near Brigham City. I don't know how accurate this is, my father typed it from memory and I have only just begun to look at the family he has researched.

I also found this site online:
