Hi I'm rasearching my gggrandfather William SCOTT. He was bon 1793 at Poole Dorset, county England UK. the son of Benjamin SCOTT and Mary WHITE. William immergrated to Newfoundland Canada and married Provedence ROBERTS Nov. 19 1827, she was the daughter of William ROBERTS and Elizabeth BARTLETT they had 8 children. 1 Mary SCOTT born Oct. 8 1828 at Upper Gullies Conception Bay Newfoundland. 2 Robert SCOTT born Mar. 19 1831 at Upper Gullies died Feb. 11 1905 at Cambridge Massachusetts USA. he marrried Mayt CLUNEY about 1861 she was born Dec. 18 1842 at Middle Bight Newfoundland the daughter of John CLUNEY and Elizabeth TAYLOR they had 11 children 3 levi SCOTT born Mar13 1839 at Upper Gullies died Feb. 5 1908, he married Emma BUTLER about 1871, she was born about 1841 at Foxtrap Newfoundland died May 19 1923, they had 7 children 4 Noah SCOTT born about 1842 at Upper Gullies died Nov. 4 1881 he married Seline she was born 1854 died Sept. 10 1942 at Upper Gullies they had 3 children. 5 Joseph SCOTT born 1843 at Upper Gullies died Mar. 6 1913 he married Ann DAWE about 1865 she was born about 1838 died Mar 28 1991 the daughter of Issac DAWE and Emma he next married Elizabeth she was born 1846 died Sept. 27 1903 he next married Amelia she was born 1843 died Mar.9 1917. 6 Samuel SCOTT born about 1844 at Upper Gullies died Jun. 16 1921 he marrid Mary SNOW about 1870 she was born setp. 1849 died Dec. 6 1926 the daughter of Edward SNOW and Patience DAWE they had 13 children. 7 Isreal SCOTT born 1847 at Upper Gullies he married Ann about 1877 they had 8 children. 8 Benjamin SCOTT born 1852 at Upper Gullies died Sept. 22 1909 he married Elizabeth TAYLOR about 1879 they had 9 children.
