Subject: William Crockett Family and Samuel Wilkes Family

William Crockett was butler to King George the third and Princess Amelia. He married Lady Dawson and three children were born: William, George and Amelia. William was born in Buckingham Palace in the year 1782.When he was 24 years old, he married Ann Warren. To them was born Eliza Ann, when they lived in Hertford. Eliza married Samuel Wilkes in 1831 at Saint Matthews, Walsall, Staffordshire. Samuel was a Wheelwright with a shop on Walsall street Willenhall. There children: Richmond Warren (my great-grandfather),Mary, Eliza, Edward all born in Willenhall. They moved to Darlaston around 1849 and William and Amelia were born. Richmond married Jane Whitfield in 1858 and migrated to Rome, N. Y. about 1870. William married Emma Strefford at the Pleck in 1873 and migrated to Rome N.Y. about 1886. Mary married Henry Farr. In 1880 Mary's mother was living with her and her family, in Darlaston. In 1880 Edward was 36 and living with William and Emma. I don't know anything about Amelia. Any connections?
