Subject: Gould - Ontario to Boston - 1875+

I'm trying for some time to locate or to at least trace the destination/descendants of a ggu who apparently moved to Boston but of whom I've failed to find any record.
Joseph Gould (1850-1927?) and his wife Mary Ann (perhaps Anna Marie) was born and married in East Whitby, Ontario, and sometime after 1871 moved to Boston MA (perhaps as late as 1888). He may have had at least 2 children (daughters). Supposedly he died in 1927, but Mary Ann was living in Boston as late as 1933. I don't know his occupation or exactly where/what town in the area he lived.
Has anyone any information or ideas for finding his trail?
